Just a plug cause I can.
Unbelievable back up service from Joolca.
I may have broken mine a bit... Bart went above and beyond to fix it.
I was tempted when I first got one to buy a cheaper one off the net.  Glad I didn't.

Can't say I have got the same level of back up service from very many companies ever.

Nb. No affiliation. But I take bribes if offered.
Thanks again Bart.

I will jump in here as well and support what Fathom has said.

I noticed last weekend after using the CT at Christmas (I know) that the rubber mounts on my water pump (purchased 2014 off Bart) had all broken off. I got in touch with Bart about buying some more and he wouldn't have it and is sending me replacements for free  :cup:

So, Just Placed my order this afternoon after failing to fix my Coleman HWS.  I tried the usual tricks to get the Coleman HWS working again and gave up today as not wanting to take apart again and keep fiddling.  Was looking for something simple and that operated off the shower head for both showers and filling the washing bowl.  Looks like this ticks all the boxes and some good reviews from swaggers so confident on the choice.

Next thing I need to think about is how to mount it.  Think I will wait and see what the options are and decide.  Likely going to keep it stored in the toolbox and then hang it off the side of the trailer when in use, don't really have a great place to mount on the trailer (Drift DOT 6).

Great product. The only thing I have found is I bought the hottap with the works and bag and it's impossible to fit everything in the bag. I ended up getting sarah to make me a bigger bag.

Just some honest feedback. But like I said very happy with it.

@ trngia

I have just taken some images of the Shower Tent:

Shower Tent - Box

This is how you get the box when it is delivered. Thought I'd include this picture to give you an idea of the overall size for your reference.

Shower Tent - Box Size

This is just a zoom in on the overall size and weight.

Shower Tent - Packed

Max Dimensions: 1070 (L) x 180 (W) x 190 (D)

This is the size of the bag with the tent inside. The tent is actually packed up inside another cardboard box - this is why the bag looks like a rectangular box, haha! I left the tent inside the box so that you could see the max size of the tent bag.

Once you discard the inner cardboard box, the dimensions of the tent bag will be slightly smaller.

@ McGirr

I had a look at your order and I think I know why everything won't fit into the Bag - I'll send you an email now.

In saying that, thank you for your feedback!

We are actually working on revisions for the HOTTAP OUTING to make it better. I'm not entirely sure of all the specifics at this stage but one of the things we are revising is the carrying/ storage aspect. So, your feedback actually helps us know that we are on the right track :)

@ grinch

I have just PM'd you!

@ peter01

Awesome! Glad you like it :)

The 12V, 6LPM pump (FLOTAP6) has a short length of cable with an SAE adaptor on the end of it. This is how it comes and is a 'bare bones' pump - meaning that it does not come with any water fittings/ electrical leads. We did this because we found that a lot of people liked to wire up the pump differently (directly hardwire/ replace SAE adaptor with Anderson plug/ etc.) and that they sometimes needed different water fittings (large/ small barbed).

So, if you were to grab the FLOTAP6, it would not come with the SAE to Cigarette lead. Coincidentally, these items are actually on back order and will be in within about one week or so.

I'll send you a PM to see if we can work this out  :)

First time in action this weekend.  Connected direct into the trailer pump with a meter attached.  Works a treat for both the dishes and showers.  Love how simple this unit is compared to the old Coleman setup.  :-)

Hi Bart, I have watched your videos on your website. Great stuff. I think you have talked me into it or maybe it is the http://www.myswag.org/Smileys/classic/icon_cup.gif customer feedback that has done the trick. Have sent you a PM and look forward to setting it up on the camper.http://www.myswag.org/Smileys/classic/cheers.gif

Hey Bart, HotTap still holding its position as the best camping purchase we've ever made.

Looking to add to the Joolca stable with a shower tent and pole, can you please let me know the price and a availability please?

Hi Bart,

I'm wanting to buy one of the HOTTAP outing kits.  On the website it states shipping will be towards the end of March.  I wanted it for the 4th of April.  Would I be able to pick it up once you have stock?

Hey guys! Firstly, a big sorry for the delayed PM responses that you have been getting from me! Been a bit busy as Easter is around the corner, it isn't an excuse but I still am sorry for keeping you guys waiting.

I should be up to date with responses to everyones PMs by now :)

@ trngia

Thanks for the kind words and feedback :) By the way, awesome images! I've just realised the image of you in the tent has close to 5x more clicks than the image of the unit on its own. I'm not surprised, haha! Doing good!

@ Touroz

Woo! Such nice words on this post and on your PM, really, thanks :) I have just checked my phone and see that I've missed your call back, I'll be buzzing you tomorrow! Speak then!

@ myminirocks

Insane :) I'll email you to one of our old email threads with some some information - sorry for the delay!

@ Jasjul

Hrm, that sounds like it would be fine and it seems like the timing would mean you'd get it in time - but, in saying this, some outside force could just pop in and disrupt the timeline of how things would go down. I'll speak with one of the other guys here to try and get some more information on the estimated arrival time and I'll get back to you in a PM tomorrow!

Got my hot tap the other week...

Fitted up easy as and works perfectly, was a big hit with the family and will be invaluable on our upcoming 4mth trip.

Are the units robust ?

Well given I only have one usable arm at present and trying to finish off the camper I dropped the unit from chest height onto concrete floor , it landed hard and I expected the worst.

Damaged the top black shroud defector  and dinged in the bottom of the unit... I was super impressed with how tough it was.

Luckily top plate is removable with 4 screws to be straightened with a panel hammer by dad on weekend, I cant hammer left handed and will make it worse  ;D ;D ;D

For the price and the quality ..these things rock  :cup: :cup: :cup:

Thanks Bart and hot tap team

Just about convinced to buy one of these.
Do the flotap pumps cycle on and off automatically to keep water at pressure or do they need to be turned on and off when using?
Basically Im thinking if they cycled automatically , I could plumb the whole van up with just one pump and have decent pressure water to my sink as well when I turn the tap on.............

Received my Hottap and a few accessories the other day. Real easy to set up, smaller and nicer design than a previous different brand of shower unit (which did not last very long and came with no customer service). Bart was great to deal with, made the whole process easy and added excellent advice which was extremely practical and useful. Would recommend Joolca to anyone thinking of hooking up a hot shower for camping. Cheers Bart.
