@ scott oz

The female fitting will stop the gas flow, but I would turn the bottle off when possible. As soon as you connect the female end to the male end, the gas will start flowing again and the unit will run as per normal.

@ tourer77

Yeah, we should be able to sort something out :) Can you please PM me your email address and we will get things under way. Sorry for not catching your PM sooner!

@ mule  & neilo1

Thanks for the kind words guys :)! Appreciate it and my absolute pleasure :)

@ MrEMan

I replied back to the email you included in the PM you sent me - please have a look in your inbox :) I didn't send anything back as a PM, so, that's why nothing would have been in your MySwag inbox.

Bought one last week online and already delivered to home. Looking forward to setting it up in preparation for my Pilbara trip when I get home. Do I also need a water pump?

The HOTTAP needs a pressurised water source. So, if you won't have access to mains (or a gravity fed system with sufficient pressure and flow) on your Pilbara trip, you will need to couple the unit with a pump. Feel free to send me a PM if you need a bit more information :)!

Hey Scott, I was a bit vague when I mentioned that our Product Development guy was looking into a box kit with a battery and pump built in. He looked into the concept a couple of years ago or so and decided against it. So, we don't have plans to bring something like this out at the moment. I can't actually recall the reason why it didn't go ahead so I can't give more input here unfortunately.

Gday Bart, just wanted to pass on that I bought the Shower system and it works great. Very simple to set up and pack away. At 4lts a minute I can still have a great shower. Recently did a trip through the Pilbara and Karlamilyi NP and it was faultless. Thanks for a great product and prompt delivery.

Bart,
What is the estimated height above the HOTTAP for a header tank with a 12mm supply hose? I have experimented with a container at 2.5metres and is sufficient to shower with and are curious to see if the flow rate will be adequate for the HOTTAP.
Could you supply me a price with and without the pump accessories.
Regards Don

Can anyone tell me what size hose the hottap uses?  I want to add an inline tap to the shower hose, but don't have access to it to check the size.  I seem to recall that it is smaller than normal hose size.

Thanks
Jill

Hey Don, I'll reply to your question in the PM you sent :)

@ tazzi

Hey Jill, just asked my product guy and the hose is 8mm internal and 10mm external. Hope this helps!

Gday Bart...............

Brilliant units you have. Ours has been awesome.
We have had numerous of the "other" brands and all fail in due course.
Yours - 2 years old now and so far so good and its benefit is that it seems to work in really cold weather unlike other units.
We've had it in sub zero temps and running perfectly. (just have to slow the flow to maintain the heat so we don't freeze!!!)

Only problem I ever had was when the lad turned the gas off while the wife was in the shower...........
Needless to say it didn't go down too well!

Cheers mate,
Brian

Hi Bart,

I just saw on the website that there is free shipping at the moment. Just checking if this is correct.

If not, what is the postage cost to Wondai Qld,  Do you have an idea of delivery time at all?

Thanks,

Peta

@ briann532

Thank you :) I'm always curious to hear back about how the units perform in different conditions and after years of use. Always helpful to get feedback, so, thanks again!

@ rockinj

We have free shipping on all of our stuff (it isn't just a 'now' thing). So, no rush to take advantage of this at all :)!

I have just done an estimate, with Australia Post (standard) it will take about 4 business days to Wondai QLD 4606. As an example, if I sent something today, you'd see it around Wednesday next week. Hope this helps!

Hi Bart,

Silly me, I tried to ring too early this morning to order a system. I did want to ask though if you see this before I ring; can I direct deposit into an account and email the receipt as confirmation of payment?

Cheers,
