Hey Spada,
Nice job mate, draws are on my wish list atm  :'(

Today I Fitted a volt meter that monitors the Aux battery and fixed the fridge to some tie down hooks in the rear.
Cutting the hole for the switch & meter was a piece of cake using a Rotary Tool that I got from Jaycar.

Spent the say in the cave with the young fella making sets for the next show my daughter is in. He spent 2 hours cutting shapes with the jig saw.

Over the last day or so I have been installing a pulley system in the ceiling of the shed to hold the roof cage off the 80. I'll also store my swag etc on it. The plan is to be able to back in, lower the cage, bolt it down and go.

Built some 2.4m high shelves finally along one wall - get all the unused camping gear off the ground and up into storage for winter! Thank god, it has been bugging me for ages
We've swapped from the camper to a van yay! :)

Cheers Spada.
I've a got a few more mods to over the coming months, hoping they all are as easy as this one was.
One is to make a storage place in the tailgate, I know I can buy a drop with hinged liod one, but they want nearly 500 bucks for it.
I'm hoping to get out of it for a fraction of that cost  ;D

Cleaned the shed and garage up over the long weekend.
We now have plenty of space to open the camper up to dry the canvas if required, and can get the cruiser into the garage and out of the weather.
Makes it easier to get away during winter knowing we can dry the canvas with worries if required.
Not real exciting stuff but has needed doing for a while.

Finally got my new (well, rebuilt under warranty) Bilstein shockies back in the Prado. They have been staring at me for 3 weeks. Needed a rainy day to get them in.

Nice to see that Blue and Yellow back under there.

I drilled a bunch of holes in preparation for fitting my camper onto the ute.

It was after 5 when the shops were shut and I discovered the drill I was using that had all the writing worn off by spinning chucks was a 9.2mm, rather than the 10mm I thought it was. >:(

I could have pushed harder and made the 10mm bolt go through, but I gave up in disgust.

Have been playing panel beater, and it really sucks! This poor old car doesn't have a straight panel on it. So far have done half of the boot floor, outer of LH quarter and tail light area, both doors and I'm well and truly over it  >:(   Should be done by about September, 2019.

Today's effort.
