Spent some time with my son setting up a gold fish tank for him (fish to come tomorrow). They sure have come along way since 30 years ago when I got my first job in an aquarium.

I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go…

Work - Outback
Play - Prado

My 5yr old son and I made the most of having all 4 x women out of the house. His Gran ma, Mum, 2 x sisters went out.
So we cleaned the fleet of bikes etc.
starting with Dad's 2 bikes, then his.

 The finished result.

I spent most of the day today building a stand for an extra battery for my camel camper trailer. I now have 200AH of AMG batteries on board the camper.

Fitted a Stone Stomper guard to the Dove (Thanks again Christian), covered all the wiring underneath in split tube protection as well as the small water hoses also put a Co detector in (Diesel Heater). Now just to put some cover on the large water, thinking foam lagging of some sort might be the best option for 32mm OD hoses ? and dust covers for the vents.

Cheers Derek

Gave both the shed a much needed cleanup today. Have been needing to get the camper put away for weeks but the boat anchor (aka 350 chev) has been in the way, so today finally shifted that, got things cleaned up a bit and got everything back where they belong. Big thanks to my lad for helping with the car shed too, meant the 4wd had it's home back too!

is that hardtail a double diamond GT?

funny how bikes have a habit of multiplying,
i was in the garage the other day and stumbled across a folding bike that the missus bought over 12 months ago that i had never even seen (iam sure she may have mentioned something about it a while ago) and used to keep in the boot of her car, it was only in the garage because she updated her work car and had to get all the stuff out of the old one,

Just did a bit of work on my slasher. Welded up some cracks, scraped all the crap off the PTO shaft slide and re-greased, topped up the oil in the gearbox. Only took me 6 years or so the get around to welding up these cracks.

Cut out and prepared a new hitch plate for my new McHitch. ORAC coupling had a tiny base so bolt holes are nowhere near lining up. Patting myself on the back right now for only bolting, and not welding the old hitch on.

Measured and cut out non slip matting for all my cabin storage areas in the new camper trailer. Then fitted it all in. No more slippage!

I didn't actually do anything, but I did add this:

Seeing the clamps bending the last time I swapped coils had me a bit worried. This should do it much quicker and safer next time.
