Thanks Scarps, was gonna go to the Maleny Woodworking show on Saturday but have changed my mind on that one.
Radio report this morning said to expect 400+mm of rain around Brissie in the next couple of days. "Soggy" comes to mind.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Be fun to be on Fraser at the moment.

Mid 30 knot winds and piddlin down rain.....

I'm nice and warm at home watching Charlie's Angels. Geez, the acting was pretty crook back in the 70's.

Even raining in Barcy Kev, they have had a bit further west as well and more to come.

Some big totals of rainfall starting to happen in a few places around SEQ at the moment, Caboolture was getting smashed as usual i read eariler. I don't reckon we've had it to bad here so far, and we've just cracked the 100mm of rain mark according to the new weather station i went out and bought yesterday and then installed on the roof of the gatehouse before the real rain action started (missed a couple of mm's of rain that fell Wednesday night in that total). Places on the Northside like Sandgate have had over 100mm in 30 - 40 minutes apparently, the creeks are rising fast around those areas.
Brisbane is in there somewhere....

We ended up with about 130mm and plenty of wind.

Way better than a lot of others.

no the trolleys a write off couldnt be saved she will be recovered sometime today

thanks the house was fine ended up with water about 10" up the walls but none inside
as soon as i got home i relieved a few spots and the tide went down pretty quickly

at the worst of it the water was coming over the retaining wall at a rate 3-4 times greater than what was in the pic
