Reversing lights :)

Gotta love LED  ;D

Nice, did you mount them to the towbar? Where did you wire them from?

Popped a grommet through under the fake tail light and mounted a relay in the rear quarter panel, switching circuit is off the factory reverse light. power is fed from the anderson plug to the relay. I have not put a separate switch in the cab at this stage, so they come on with the factory reverse light, however I may do so in the future.

I bought the light bars off sun-yee trading on fleabay as they were cheap at $50 for the pair, delivered, they are rated as 30 watts a piece, should be heaps for my needs. I figured cheap was good for this application as they are likely to get damaged at some stage in the future when I back into something.

To mount I drilled up from under the bumper and into the steel subframe of the standard rear bar, I shimmed out the gap between the plastic bumper shell and the steel frame with a few washers.
Light travels faster than sound............that's why some folks may appear bright until they speak

Yep, shouldn't have rushed into it. The camera was bought pre rear wheel carrier so now I have a close up view of a Mickey T P3 on a third of the screen. :-[

BEST TOOL EVER MADE!!!

I picked up a Milwaukee 12v impact driver & drill combo pack during the week and also got this neat 3/8 cordless ratchet.
A mates got the Wurth branded version and I had to have my own.

Had to replace a front guard on my sisters 04 Camry yesterday.  Other than a push clip tool, this ratchet with a short extension and a 10mm socket removed and refitted the entire thing.

Then removed the rear bar on the Pajero to fix the trailer plug wiring.  Towbar fitter for previous owner scotch locked the plug into the loom and it's been giving me grief for almost 7 years!  Can't rush into fixing these things...

P.S.  stabicraft, love your craftsmanship!

Finally pulled my finger out today and got around to getting things ready for our fire box.
Set the hearth out and used Slate, finished off the slate up the wall behind where the fire box(Jotul No3) will go.
Just have to grout the slate and order the Flue,     ;D

Wired my Coleman HWOD system to run off the internal 6 volt battery or a 12volt battery with the flip of a switch.
I have no pictures, stole the idea from another forum.

Finished phase one of some storage to clear out my garage.

Phase two is doors and a floor above the tank.

Phase three is flashing.

Packed the camper away, then replaced brake pads and bled brake lines on the Cruiser. Ah that feels better.

Do you want to come round and look at my brakes on the camper? You can't answer no!

Dragged out the trucks fridge battery off the shelf [ been there about 10 months ] and hooked up the 180 W solar panels to it in the back yard for something to do.. 12.2 V on the multimeter before hook up at 8.30 am and holding a nice 12.75 V by 3pm giving a string of LED light sticks a run .
Now to find someone to lift  it back into the truck for me [ not allowed to lift much yet after surgery ]  and get  ready for Fraser in June / July.

When I was a tad younger I always kept the stock right up.
All my mates loved watching the footy/cricket/racing at my joint and throwing a few $'s in the jar.
