Another full day in the shed - the sun came out today and it was nice while it was shining in the shed on my back - so lovely and warm after a week of rain.

Plumbed up the tap on the draw-bar today, added in a check valve on the main supply line and added a line up to the back of the CT for use in the annex.

Ran the wire for the fridge and aux power at the front of the CT.  Ran out of connectors so I will have to finish that off next weekend.

Pulled off one of the wheels and repacked the bearing and checked the brakes - A visitor stopped me from doing the other side.

Put my 4WD wheel on one side to see how big it was and how well it fir.  Its a 32x10.5 mudder and its gave me an extra 65mm height.  Its a big wheel under the CT, but it fits with no problems at all.

Shut the best mate in the shed accidentally on the way out.  Normally hes right next to me, but he has learned that if I don't call him then I am going to be back in a minute and he just waits there.  Not this time, I pulled the door down and then heard him knocking to get out a few minutes later - not happy Jan...

Screwed the new Warn 9.5xp back together with some mods that were suggested by Mal Leslie. Hopefully now waterproof. Tested it and the wireless remote. Started fitting up the UHF attenna .Fitted expanded alloy mesh to behind the cruiser grill and started drilling the spacer block for the Expanda hitch to try and reach the Cruza.

Wired up the tail lights and electric brakes on my new trailer, then realized i forgot to wire up the number plate light..grrrrr now i gotta do dat tomos.. It was really neat and tidy too..

Used my new soldering iron gun, much nicer to use..

Whilst finishing up some work on the CT and I then decided that I would attempt to resurrect a dying motor bike agm battery with the aid of a much over sized battery charger.  A real long story made short.  I produced a lot magic smoke within seconds; melting leads and numerous burnt fingers (7) later as the result of trying to disconnect the almost glowing smouldering leads.- I can still smell the burnt wire insulation on my fingers.  It was very much, the brains of the guts of an Easter egg moment.  (I could have turned off the charger!!!)  I suppose I'll get out of helping with the dishes tonight!

Spent yesterday building props for Beauty and the beast stage production that my daughter is in. Today will see some more done and most likely over the next few days I will be doing the same.
So if any one wants to come and see Class Act Youth Productions (10yo to 21yo) Beauty and the beast on August 16-18 in Moe give me a yell. They always put on a good show.

Finished the tail lights, wired the plug, had visit from my auto eleccy asking about computer advice and he told me the wiring i have for the electric brakes wasnt adequate.. I used it anyway..

Tested the tail lights, one unit wasn't working so had to replace..

Took for a test drive and forgot to put the coupling lock down so it came off the car ripped the  plug out and rolled down hitting my car bending the front tie down rail, and possible the front of the trailer.. Plug was ok. Coupling all scratched.. Will now try to forget another silly forgetfulness but try to remember to always lock it down.

Darn hey..

Spending a few days trying to sort my Cave, after trips to the tip and scrap metal yard, I've sold one or two bits as well, I'm going to set my woodworking gear up and make a new bench. Must get some pics taken. :cheers:

Nothing today,
Walk out, flung the roller door up and stared at the inside for about 5 minutes.

Walked back inside and thought Buggar.
Hmmm might think about moving some stuff about tomorrow, that'll get me out of the house.
The two teenage girls atm are like living with a pair of Cobra's.
The young bloke and myself WILL find something to do in the shed all day tomorrow  ;D

Almost finished off the plumping for the water tank and started installing the tail light led's,Up until a huge crack noise came from the backyard then realised a big mother of a branch had snapped off the tree missing the garage by 4ft

In the process of Mods on the Cub . Putting in A Deepie to Anderson plug , charged from the tug & straight to the Engels . Wanted a fuse past the battery so ripped into the leckie bag o tricks found a spare 80A fuse holder & reworked it to take a 20A fuse . Amazing what you can achive with the correct number of cans  :cheers:

After heading out last week (whilst on leave) to assist in recovering a work truck or two and getting the dreaded  "click, click, click"....

....I replaced a solenoid in my controller box....all good now.  :police:

Just replaced the "U" bolts on the boat trailer ... went out too hook up last sunday morning and out of the corner of my eye I notice that one is missing and the others just about to part company .. Now this old trailer is not rego'ed and only does about 3km each way to a private ramp so she dont get much loving , haha .. anyway boats back on trailer and ready to GO ..

the fishing has been bloody good around these parts of late and I missed a couple of good days :(

Finished off a few loose ends on the CT electrics job.  Also the stone flap.

Found a tool box, fitted a marine battery and some power sockets, add a water pump and new tap.

Wired in a VSR and meter to the triton.  So far all OK and charging.

Turned an old wardrobe door with mirror into a free standing mirror for Mrs Snow. She loves blue butterflies and lavender, so I got all arty farty and created this for her.  ;D
