After our last trip away into the High Country with the Kamper on and the bikes loaded onto the Kimberley they copped a fair bit of dust. So it was out with the tape measure and I then put SWMBO to work.....

The result....The Fork'n Bar Bra!!!   ;D

Looks great, might have to place an order. I have the same problem and my forks do not like the dust and grime let alone the bug guts

Another coat of paint on my trailer buildup. And took it for a short tow.. And then cleaned up and put the cruiser back in its home.

New trailer now sits outside for the rest of its life..

Ripped the trailer wiring out to put new wiring in. As a GIC owner, I am very disgusted with what I found. BUT, I am happy to own a CT and get out there and enjoy myself camping with my little clan!! I have had to do a few thing to the CT to get out there, but that is what it is all about!

Will get new wiring and check the breaks over the next week. Then to fit the brake controller in the ute!

Cheers

That is exactly what I did to mine. All was good at the end and I had a better camper at the end.

Delved into the LED strip lighting bag , wired up a strip of lights for the tool box . When you lift the lid up in the top of the side fold is a strip of lights to fill the dlack void . Really works well  :cup:

Had to take off the fuel tank off the fergi. The darn thread for the cap broke off just after i filled it up..

So had to drain out the fuel, ran out of empty jerry cans so had to wait for a mate to drop one off..

Long day, as one of the bolts wouldn't undo..

Actually i wasnt in the workshop but just out side of it..

Walked in the door to the garage, stood quietly for a few minutes surveying the the sights before me, made a resolution of how to go about the action required, Let out a dejected heavy sigh, turned and closed the door ... Vowing one day, one day I will get it all sorted out and everything back in its place, one day !!!

Finished rewiring the trailer so that it doesn't look like a birds nest!

Tidied up the plumbing in the CT after the fit out of the water pump and tested the whole system again. No leaks, pretty happy!

Next, the brake controller in the tug!
Cheers

Took advantage of the sun to dry out and clean all the camping gear from the trip earlier in the week.

First use of the Oztrail Ultramesh and not a fan, it appears to hold water unlike plain old shadecloth...

Built myself a choofer today from an old gas bottle I had. Very pleased with the outcome, however the welding is very average.

Just need to fire here up now!

Thought I should pull my finger out now that the girls are home and the trip next weekend, and start on some of the jobs on the trailer.
New brake hubs and a fluid flush on the camper and started on the electrics.
Box is built, just racking my brain how to get all the wires from the side of the trailer into the box at the front, then back in to the trailer....
Figured it wasn't going to get done with out drilling lots of big holes so thought I would leave that till tomorrow  8)
