The battery stuff is getting better these days.

Yep, we've got quite a few Ryobi tools (& btys!) & find they're fine for what we need power tools for.

Battery powered chainsaw = quiet = firewood in national parks  >:D >:D

I'm shocked, because I'd never even think of doing such a thing! >:D

Yeah, I know it'll hold my weight because as I was finishing it off I was trying to get something to fit & realised that I was sitting on the horse!

Not really my shed but my front yard garden.  Planted my new cherry tree into its pot.

If I could have a tin shed, I’d have one by now. I applied for planning permission but got told it had to be built of stone, which raised the costs to a whole new level. I can have tin roof though. Apparently, it suits the vernacular.

The clothesline is still an item of discussion.....  SHMBO wants a rotary one.  I wanted to fit a wall-mounted version.

According to local planning rules my cream trim and roof contravene local requirements as the "reflective glare" coefficient is slightly too high....  Shed was already on site when the planning department got back to me with that little gem of information.....

As no one can even see the roof except via low flying airplane, and only the front facia is visible from the street I'm just leaving it as is. If someone notices it I"ll repaint it....

What about a tin shed with a stack stone or some other stone veneer type thing on the outside?

Pools now need a 5 year compliance check. Luckily the neighbour and I get along well as we had to cut and trim trees on our property for his bs compliance. Even a 10mm projection of a branch was deemed too much
