Yeah, well wood veneer.. loved that car, most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Drove it 8 hours straight up to Sydney once and got out as fresh as I got in. In the wife's past Aurion or current Tuscon, 2 hours is the limit for me (my JEEP is nearly as good as the Rover)..
The Rover was a manual, and could it haul ass. Never found a piece of road long enough to max it out, best I saw was well off the clock at 5100rpm in 5th gear (5000 rpm @ 240kph). So approx 260 kph...
