Isuzu, it's second generation Cat 1, I'll let you know the model after our meeting Wednesday evening.
It's constant 4wd, centre diff lock and lockers frint & rear.
(Similar setup to my 80 series, but I don't have lockers).
It's auto, no park gear, select neutral and apply the air operated hand brake.
Reverse, Neutral, Drive, 2nd, 1st.
It has decent assistance, select 1st, bring your revs up to 1200rpm, it will walk down very step tracks by it's self. It's a strange thing to do, your instincts are to help it brake, but it will engine brake figure it by it's self.

There were a fleet of old Bedfords and Blitz in our area... oh being village protection + bush we battled with an ex air firey thornycroft (similar to photo)as our worst..  Although the OKA wasnt that flash either.

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

Right on GVM when loaded with single shocks instead of twins on each corner...
When empty it was quite good... when it was loaded and full of water it was horrible.

Yesterday arvo,
While watching my Swans get their backsides smacked, we lost power just near the end of the 1st quarter.
Out to the shed, grab the Kings 3.5kva genny, Telly back on, Fridge/freezer running, and a couple of lights.
I've used it a couple of times now, mainly for On-site jobs, Grinder, dropsaws, electric jack hammer, but not for 5 hours straight.
Don't run out of fuel, still half 1/2 tank.
I notice Kings don't sell them anymore,
Not happy the Swans lost, but pretty happy the genny works well.

John Cleese: "People without a sense of humour should not be allowed to decide what people with a sense of humour are allowed to laugh at.

It would be like allowing colour-blind people to decide which colours should be on a colour chart."

Warning!

Do not buy imported, plastic, skeletons for Halloween, as they are bad for the environment.

Locally sourced, all natural, skeletons are much more environmentally friendly!

They may take a bit of prep work, but they're so worth it!

Just picked up Daughter No2 from BNE.
We've flown her home from Perth as a surprise for her older sister's birthday tomorrow, a lunch time River criuse from Yamba to the Harwood Hotel.
:)
She's going to loose it. :)

That it is,
34 years or more we have lived here, and we've never done this, Lunch time River Cruise.
Crossed from Yamba to Iluka a few times on the ferry there, also been on trawlers, in Tinnies fishing,  tried water skiing, but never as a group doing this.
:)
Before my mother became to ill and passed, My sister was trying to get us and her 7 grand children together on the Yamba to Grafton house boats for a long weekend.
That would of been pretty cool

What a top day out.
14 of us, a little choppy, however we found a sheltered spot where we could have a swim, had a BBQ lunch, a few beers.
Then made our way back to the marina.
