Do you think Joe Biden knows he's no longer running?
Or are they just gonna tell him he won and let him play president in the old peoples home? '
we need to put more pressure on them Russian ninja turtles'

Yeah,
I've just got to fill out some forms, drop them into the Grafton Hospital and they'll book the op for my right knee replacement. Left one will need it one day.
It's been a long journey over the last 4 years, loosing weight, exercising.
Happy Days.

Full or Partial John ?  My 1st was a full, totally off painkillers in 10 days from op, crutches for another 4 weeks, wlking stick for another 4 weeks. Climbing steps every day from 3rd day after op. No problems since, just take you time with the rehab. 4 months after the op I was climbing pagodas in Burma like they were flat.

As the recipient of two after market knees the best advice I can offer is to understand that everyone's recovery is different. Don't try to keep up with others or think you are slow / quick as you progress thru your rehab. You are not a pussy for wanting painkillers and you are not a hero for going without. The rehab is important and if you need pain relief to get through it then take it. I was advised not to stay in one place for too long ie don't sit with it bent at the one angle, don't stand on it straight while you have a conversation with someone etc. Keep it moving. In my experience it wasn't as bad or painful as I had expected. Good luck travelling thru airports forever after. I have heard that they are now putting a code on the prosthesis that is picked up by the scanners and you don't have to go through any further checks once they read the code.

Look forward to the lack of constant grinding pain that you have had and know that there is improvement coming.

Good luck.

Hi Guys,
A full replacement,  the Dr told me that everyone has a different recovery time, and I will still feel pain for some time after. He was very up front about what I was to expect post OP.
He has a great reputation, the first question most people ask is, who is doing the OP?
Dr Aidin Sadeghilar.
Apparently, I'm in good hands.

Thank you for your advice and yeah, the constant pain, that I won't miss.

Oh, the joys of using your body as a backhoe, forklift in the building trade off & on for 40 years.

Putin just can't figure out how his troops are being beaten, & decides he needs help.

So he calls in a medium to summon the spirit of Joseph Stalin.

Great Stalin, the enemy are attacking Kursk again, but this time we're being beaten. How did you do win the battle there?

Oh, that was easy! I just sent in our best Ukrainian troops, & asked the Americans & British for more weapons!

Taken out to lunch at the Rifle Brigade Hotel in Bendigo, then to a stage show "A Vintage Death", based on the book of the same name by Colin King, at the Engine Room  across the Road. All up excellent and very enjoyable day.

Thank goodness they put the electricity generators out of reach of tsunamis-
https://x.com/DisasterTrackHQ/status/1832684253949092127
The blades are now up to 107 metres long particularly for offshore turbines in order to maximise the output economics with very costly mounts and they're supposed to last 20-25 years-

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

Saturday was, Get Ready Day, RFS.
Our brigade, Sets up gazebos, we have our Cat1 & Cat9 on show.
We offer Face Painting, Sausage Sizzle, drinks, hand ours, games for the kids.
It was well attended by locals, some just wanting to see our vehicles and know how they work. Others wanted to ask how to prepare their properties for the fire season.
Besides talking to residents and showing them how our equipment works.
I had the opportunity to drive our Cat1 to the venue.
She's auto, seats are more comfortable than my lounge
Handles really well on road, considering it's a heavy girl.
Cameras front, rear, sides, head up display that keeps you informed of were other appliances(rfs vehicles) are near you.
I guess at a cost of $700 000.00, it should have some bells & whistles.
