Hi,
First trip with a hire van behind an old Volvo 240D was 'interesting'.
At 80k it would sway in time to the wipers.
Was somewhat frazzled at the end of that trip.
Cheers

I inadvertently towed our first camper at 100mph when I was overtaking and forgot it was on the back.

Haha that reminds me of when my Mrs got her WRX and the speedo was in mph and kmph
She was driving myself and a mate home from a big boys lunch in the pissing rain on a packed motorway
I said your going a bit fast aren’t you, her reply “Im only doing 95”
“thats miles an hour” I said
Oh I wondered why I’m always passing everybody 😂😂😂😂😂
She’d had it for a couple of months 🤦???🤦???

Wow, they must be shaking in their shoes by now! ::) >:(

We've (Self, Mrs & Son 2) just joined the crew of + :'( >:(

None of us are particularly sick though - I'm the worst with a runny nose, & none of us are running a temperature.

Reported it in & waiting to see what happens next, although I've already had a message that my GP will be giving me a call later ???

Sad news. I fancied the arse off her in the 70s.

I have recovered at least half a dozen vehicles from the 'Road' in the red circle.

When I pose the question as to why on earth the drivers have taken this route, the answer is always, 'Google Maps shows it as a road' and I suppose it does.

It is, in fact, a rough track through an overgrown, old pineapple paddock! Blind Freddie could see that it's not a road!

Thankfully, the placement of a chain and 'Private Property' sign has quietened things down a bit.

Shame you dont hear much about Red Nose Day anymore...
https://www.rednoseday.org.au/

New data reveals there has been an increase in the number of stillbirths, but a reduction in number of infant deaths in Australia.
It comes as Friday, August 12, marks Red Nose Day, an annual national campaign that raises awareness of SIDS.

Latest figures show that nationally, 2997 babies aged under one died in the year 2019 - up 51 compared to 2946 deaths over the previous year.
Of the 2997 deaths, 2183 were stillbirths - up from 2116 the previous year.

A total of 100 were SIDS and unexplained deaths in infants - compared to 112 the previous year.
