Nice....so what screws did you end up using?
long story...
as it turns out, the Dunn & Watson ones i originally got were not great...
so, being a bit pissed off by that, i just went to bunnings and bought some of their non-locking goliath slides and they had screws included.
they were a small countersunk, so probably a 6g, just like was suggested...
really disappointed in the D&W slides, if i'm honest. when i had a closer look, the tracks that hold the ballbearings down were bent and out of alignment.
even after trying to fix, they just wouldn't run right. they also seemed to be warped and just wouldn't run smoothly, no matter what i did.
so, when i got the goliath ones, i was thinking that it was my technique to mount the draw slides was inept (which was entirely possible), but they worked without an issue.
trying to get a refund now through D&W, but they won't have a bar of it. essentially saying that they don't come out of the factory like that.
i am suspecting i
may have got a refurbished model. they were just wrapped in a bag, with some glad wrap and cardboard pieces at each end.
if anyone is thinking about using the goliath slides from bunnings, they were great for me. screws included and a lifetime warranty. also, goliath is a sub of UES international...
