Hmm your memory is a bit twisted as it was you that stated you had a much better set up etc......I was referring to my experience with a standard Track Shak not a modified one. I agree you did take things the wrong way.  I had a different opinion to you whoopee! You are the one espousing the greatness of your camper and putting mine down if my memory serves. Have a look at rear fold soft floors. Our old  http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=13875.0 one was pretty quick without the awning, plenty of room inside.

I also have a Mountain Trail EDX and I agree that there are some good quick kids options such as an oz-tent to add to a hard floor.

Prior to the EDX we had a mountain trail soft floor.  We did a 5 week trip in to the red centre with many 1 night stops.  It was a good quick trailer in terms of soft floor but it become a bit of a chore after a few weeks. One of the biggest issues is having the pvc floor on the ground which can get damp or dusty which adds to pack up. 

The hard floor sits up on the ground and is cleaner to pack up.  The EDX is electric opening and closing and works well.  No issues at all post owning for 18 months.

Our kids our now 19 and 17 and generally swag it when they camp with us.  We love the EDX which we originally towed with 120 Prado but late 2016 we moved to a LC200.  The Prado towed it well and we had OME suspension.

We are currently 8 months in and travelling indefinitely at this stage, we had a look at all 3 of those campers as well as soft floor models but we ended up with a drifta dot off road tourer and love it. We only have 2 boys though who are 9 and 6 who most of the time want to sleep in their swags. You spent 95% of your time outside, when the weather is bad is the only time you need a bit extra room. We spent 4 months in tassie  in our camper with no issues. Its a big decision choosing a camper so take your time and go through all your options and different scenarios. Also im not sure what the big deal is if it takes a bit longer to pack up your out living the dream so who really cares.

Firstly KK, Aussie Swag, complete campsite are all great campers. What made the decision for us to purchase a KK was the kitchen set up. I not a fan of cooking close to the canvas so KK won out there, plus it had so much more bench space. The design of the back canvas, and location of the door, In both the KK and CC push out or straight creates more floor space. I liked the fact that the KK did not use any marine carpet (really handy when you turn the water pump on without pulling the kitchen out and the tap is turned on).

KK from 2013 on also changed its design so that you can leave the extra bedroom attached which in your case could be handy.

Regardless of all this you are still going to have storage issues what ever you pick. We can easily fit clothes for us and my 16 year old for a week in the draw and the bed.

Oh and one thing don't get an extra water tank unless you are going to attach them. We took the option of the 70ltr front tank that has the hand pump (pain in the arse) no longer use it.

What about the Camprite TX6MK2?

We too are looking at upgrading from our Johnno's Walkup tourer to either the CC Fraser XTE or the Aussie Swag Ultra Max, but currently haven't seen them in person to do a comparison.

Also looked at the KK but after one walk on the hard floor and feeling the movement in it (maybe it wasn't setup properly) it didn't really appeal to us.

Saw the Camprite at the recent Perth show and it seemed to tick a lot of boxes for us, which surprised us.

We are a family of 5, however the boys (15&13) now generates prefer to stay in their own swags, and our daughter ( in the main tent.

never had an issue with the floor of our KK in the 7 years we've owned it, and we've had 2 kids sleeping on it the majority of that time.

Depends how u use it we run the front tank for drinking water only and run bore water etc for showering washing up etc in the bigger rear tank. For us it's easier than having to muck around with Jerrys for water. If I'm carrying jerry cans they are only carrying fuel to get me closer to where the wanna be .

LB the front tank can be plumbed in easily with just a tee piece and tap and a hose from the tank up to the pump. I did all mine aftermarket so it is not connected to the hand pump at all.
Easy to do.
