Audi's in general are well engineered and well built, they share a lot of parts across the whole VAG group, VW, Skoda, Audi, Porsche. The Q7 is a great comfy touring vehicle for the bitumen. Parts and/or service out of CBD can be non existent. Find a good non-dealer mechanic, the dealers will gouge you big $$$ for service as it is out of warranty. Also you could use him to inspect the vehicle and let you know what it is like. I've owned 2 Audi's in warranty, never had a problem with either of them that I didn't inflict, smoked clutches etc.
