Quite a few emails this week from swaggers about finance.

In a nut shell guys i can finance campers new and old and from a dealer or private. Totally depends on what you are trying to finance and as I finance commercial and home loans i can potentially refinance your house and save you money and get some cash out to buy a camper.

Alternatively i can lend with the camper securing the loan. Most of the major banks have quite sharp rates for new campers up to 1 year old, then 2 to 5 years old they add roughly 2% on top and 5+ years old the rates go to near personal loan rates.

Some more specialist equipment finance lenders have sharp rates as long as the camper is less than 12 years old by the end of the term. So if you want to buy a private 7 year old camper i can finance it over a 5 year term as good rates. It depends on the amount but on $20k+ finance you are looking in the 7% range which is sharp for an older camper. Happy to run scenarios by anyone, get in touch.

Not a camper but looking at a new skid steer, if i put down a 20% deposit on a 68k machine wit CAT they will finance the remainder over 4 years for 2.99%. Do you do deals like that as well?

Hey Outwest, To be honest none of the banks are that cheap and if thats the true rate its nothing i can help with. If you want to send me an email with the details including if you do or dont have a balloon payment i can tell you what I can do. A lot of the time dealers advise clients of cheap rates like toyota advertising 1-2% etc but they jack the fees up and in the terms and conditions after for example two years into the term they jack the rate up so with equipment finance its best to compare with repayments not rates. a lot iof the time i get cheaper repayments than the dealers even when they advertise lower interest rates which people cannot fathom.

On a positive note have just got finance approved within 6 hours for a fellow swagger for a Lifestyle AT12NB  I am jealous I absolutely love those hybrid campers!

Hey Rags, how is things mate? Sorry I did not see this until now. Yes tell me about it, some companies are making very good coin out of campers these days. It is a whole new world out there in terms of price! Happy to chat mate, can offer advice regardless of whether you proceed or not.

FYI all, the last few camper and car loans I have done for Swaggers I have been able to refinance their home and save them big $$$ and get cash out to buy their toys. Yes I know some are against this as financing over a 30 year term works out more in the long run. I always advise people the repayment they need to make to pay it off in the term they want to. This could be an option for some people. Variable rates at the moment with multiple lenders are around the 3.69%-3.79% mark and they have minimal fees.

If anyone wants to chat get in touch. I also have lenders for all of you self employed people who will do business funding if you have residential security, so if you have a home loan which is lower and a house worth a bit and also have a business loan I can potentially finance it with a bank who will do the entire lot at home loan rates.

FYI all I have updated the first page. Dad is focusing on Crediflex just doing commercial/business finance so I have set up a new entity which will do more in the home loan and consumer loan side of things and focus on cars, campers, boats etc. Details have been updated on page 1.

I have come across a little niche, I now have a contact at Toyota in QLD who is able to get corporate pricing for anyone. Self employed or now. Can get a VX including all costs on the road for $94k in QLD. I recently financed one to a bloke in NSW. They can supply the car with a dealer plate for interstate buyers and you get a few days to register the vehicle in the corresponding state.

It is impressive pricing and cheaper than I have seen anywhere else personally, see below. Obviously we can finance these cars at competitive rates and repayments, would love to keep helping out swaggers!

If you want to below pricing before QLD rego and on-roads it is approximately $5,000 cheaper. Then you would need to take the vehicle to your corresponding State and obtain all on-road + registration costs.

GXL - $84k on the road in QLD
VX - $94k on the road in QLD
Sahara - $113k on the road in QLD

Dealers will usually freight a vehicle interstate for delivery. That would save the flight cost, time and petrol.

In this case it was cheaper by a lot for him to drive interstate.
