Depends on where we are going and how long for... but generally

Scrabble
Bolle (using a fluouro golf ball instead of the timber coloured "jack" cause it makes it easier to find through the "haze"..)
Sudoku book
Word find book

I think you mean "boules" or bocce ...
Unless there is a game involving sunnies that I dont know about ... lol

We took scrabble but never played it.
Rummy is good, Fish is easier to understand for the youngest. Will have to read up on some more card games, don't play often enough really!
At home we've been playing monopoly lately. So just reading this thread for ideas! Oldest has just turned 9 and youngest is 7 so good age to get into more games!

Pass the pigs goes with me everywhere.  My girlfriend thought I was crazy when I packed it into the backpacks to go through Europe.  She loved it in the end!
