During the day it’s all flowing pretty good now.

Turned out the actual roundabout was fine, the several times we went through it.

Pity the same couldn't be said about the never-ending roadworks on the Hwy itself :'( >:( ::)

We were last up there in July 2018, & I'm sure some of those roadworks were there then ???

& another question for you, Pete ...

Are there actually as many as 10 people in the whole Caloundra / Sunny Coast area that can actually drive at the posted speed limit ??? >:( >:D

City / Hwy / country roads - all of 'em, 10k under the limit, no matter what it is, or whether there's even any other traffic in front of them! ::) >:D

Most businesses in MacLean were having big dramas with their point of sales this afternoon.
There were a few Indian Techs ar junctions/pits as well, don't know what they were trying to fix, they looked pissed.

Ok, Genuine question here.
It's a bit long winded, sorry.

As most of you know I operate/sole trader, a property maintenance Gig.
Two of my biggest clients, Real Estates, don't scream at me, They have been very good to me, we have a great working relationship, we've built up a trust were 90% of the time I have not had to quote or wait for payment.
Last week I was informed from both, That they were going to a 'New Maintence System' called Maintenance Mangerment.
I received the emails today, explaining I had been 'Invited' to register to accept Work Oderers from xxx, xxx.
I click on the link, fill in all crap, abn, lic number, postal address, Bla Bla.

Now it asks me to buy credits to accept Quotes/Jobs.
WTF, they want me to pay for receiving work order.
Note, It does state that a few will be charged, just add this to your quote/invoice.

That is just passing on another cost to contractors/property owners.

Has any other members have any dealings with or know of what's this is about?

Cheers.

That's my thought as well.
A mob in Grafton up front asked for payment before receiving a work order.
At the time I refused to even thing about, they brushed me.

So I add to my quote/invoice the 'said' fee, the property managers then pass that cost on to the Property owner, Rents go up.
Hmmm. Something the online form asked for, not just my hourly rate, but what my sub contractors hourly rate is. So they have done some research as to how I operate my business.

More middle men that do nothing and take money for it.   In the mean time the Cost of Living continues to go up for those already stretched to their limit.
Cheers
