I wonder why this joint hasn't rated a mention in the news, given its location.

Wuhan Institute of Virology

Wuhan Institute of Virology mission targeting for population health, agriculture and sustainable development strategies and public safety needs of the country, relying on high-level biosafety laboratory cluster platform, focusing on virology, Agricultural and Environmental Microbiology and emerging biotechnology basic and applied basic research and other aspects.

A search for "corona" on the site reveals they have been experimenting with the corona virus for a few years.

Yep. I agree. But I suppose it's all relative. $200k to some might be like $200 to others. And like you said, most of it was probably supplied by his sponsors.

100% agree on how genuine a bloke he is.
He has remembered my boy every year at the show, for last 7 odd years. Andnalways keen to take the time to really chat with you.
Reckon hed be a good bloke to sit round camp fire with.

And everyone giving him crap about his amarok, at least its not another bloody cruizer like everyone else.
Not my pick but at least its different, and unique.

Why don't airline cabin crew have their own separate storage space for their luggage?

Last night I was the 3rd person to walk on to a flight from Auckland to Brisbane and there was no empty spots in the overhead lockers until about row 6.
The flight crew had filled it up with their own personal bags.....  >:(

In my opinion the flight crew taking all of the luggage space is even worse then that muppet that's seated in row 12 but dumps his 3 carry on bags in the locker above row 4 on the way through.... ::)

Rainfall measurement query.
South of Rocky the last couple of days had some heavy rain.
Our rain gauge, one of those tapered to the base ones that is thinner near the bottom so small measurements are readible tells me we had 150mm  of rain.
The confusing thing to me is that an open top parallel sided drum as well as a square parallel sided used pool chlorine bucket both had 250mm of water in them.
They were all within a few metres of each other and fully open to the weather.
How can there be a significant difference?

thats like any normal domestic flight too... Everyone I thought was allowed 1 bag carry on... not 1 carry on, 1 laptop rucksack, a 3rd bag with suit in it, and another with other Shit it in it.... by the time second 1/2 of people get on they are fighting for space... I always check my Shit in so I dont have to battle

I would have taken a bag out and put my own bag in straight above my seat. Then leave the offending bag in the aisle......they will soon move it.

Climate change

Sorry, that is incorrect.
I sent the same query to Greta and she categorically denies there is such a thing as climate change.
