I bought this a while ago from Autobarn
Not a really big screen but thought it will be ideal for being able to see the trailer while we're loaded in the back and for manoeuvring at camp (while loaded in the back)
I did have one of those units that clips on the sunvisor but it's way too bulky up there so it's on the shelf for now.
Mounted the camera up high under the high mount stop light, so it's inside out of the muck and dust, and not hooked up to the reverse light, I have a switch to turn on and off
This unit can take 2 feeds so plan to later on have the 2nd cam on the back of the trailer but it'll have to be separately switchable. for some reason the device has no switches of it's own (could explain why it's cheap!)
for now it's stuck to a bit of Perspex that's got Velcro hooks on the dashmat.
Plan to make a dash top pod that's got a curve in it same as the Prado 90 instrument pod and have the screen in the middle and some gauges etc each side. I'll make it out of ply and balsa then have it covered in some vinyl that's a match for my dash.
here's some pics.
