How was the day swanny??
Brilliant day mate

, hit the beach about 830, with a convoy of veh, and a howling northly blowing, but we didn't let that discourage us, drove on the soft stuff just above the high tide mark going down, a little soft but nothing to worry about if you had your tyre pressures right 18psi for us.
We stopped at mermaid lagoon, or second lagoon I think the locals call it, literally pulled up along side it set up and the kids jumped straight in the water and only stopped for lunch and then back in until we headed home about 2ish.
Trip home was no probs, stopped and lined up to get off the beach at the access track for half a dozen cars all stuck, tyre pressures I suspect, I asked a few if they needed a tug to which there replies were, how come your doing it so easy, I asked what pressures they were running and not one was under 30 pound, it just amazes me, anyway dropped the pressures on 2 cars and out they drove, gave a tug to another which had limp mode happening, other then tha an uneventful trip back along beach .....

A great spot for the family to relax and enjoy summer.
The one thing I did find alarming was the amount of men who we're drinking, getting stuck in from pretty much when I arrived until I left, and then would have driven home, is it just me or does this seam the norm.
Anyway thanks again for the info mate, defo helped us out with what to expect.
