Today we are at Old Halls Creek and a bloody interesting place it is too. The cemetery has a list of people who were buried here and some of them lived to a ripe old age for any period in Aust history. Must’ve been some tough people here then.

The other thing that is interesting is the summary of the John Darcy incident that led to the creation of the RFDS.

Apart from that the camp is a bit rough and ready but more than serviceable.

A word about alcohol - there is nothing available in Halls Creek stronger than 2.7%.

Just pulled into Mt Augustus camp ground(I can't call it resort!)
Going to get up early tomorrow for the hike up to the summit. Looking pretty busy here and apparently it's been like this for months.

Bigriggen (again!) for 4 days ;D

As usual these days, it seems as if there's a dog on just about every site.

But, just to be different, the people across from us don't have one - they've got a cat!

Darlington Park ( again)
Finally tried the awning walls on the Darche 270 eclipse, very happy with the extra area, privacy & weather/wind protection! ;)
