Free camp just north of Glen Innes, NSW. All good until a couple of weekend warrior types turned up. First thing they did was release three medium sized dogs (hunting/pig dogs?) so they could p1ss and sh1t wherever it suited them. Three other campers are here with dogs, and all of us have been emu bobbing with our dog’s waste.

As expected, as soon as I took our two Jack Russells for a walk, the three dogs charged in. Not knowing what their intentions were I quickly lifted my two off their feet and swung them out of harms way, not confident at all that I could protect them, or myself fore that matter.
Owner rushed over calling his dog as off, which didn’t really have much of an affect. I was busy getting ours back into the van and the wife approached the owner and asked him to restrain his dogs. Answer - They are friendly dogs and won’t hurt anything/anyone. He did however return them to their crate.

Ok, well now at Leybourne camp area on Canal Creek. Been here a few times before, tomorrow head to Kalbar for a couple of weeks, get chit done , go to the cancer centre for my next injections to keep stopping the jimmy dancer from growing. It’s been working for a while, so I reckon I’m doing ok.
Just about time to go to bedding byes.
Friends, just get out there,
Cheers

Hey Rob..

If you make it down south here, we should work out a weekend up at Knockwood/Stringbark Creek campground  (Mansfield/Tolmie) or similar for a few jars. Im sure we could get a few people together with notice.

Town of Bright has been very quiet this year. Caravan parks have not had traffic as usual. Streets have not been as busy. Food shops have been closed. When I have been at the supermarkets there has been a small number of shoppers.

Warwick Big4 CP for 5 days. Wife and sister are keen to check out the Celtic festival being held over the weekend. I came along for the ride/drive.
Went to the weigh bridge this morning to check everything out with this rig when it is loaded to travel, ie full water tanks, full load of fuel in the troopy, etc. Our numbers are all legal. I am not sure what the individual axle limits, or actual weights are?

(Allowed)
GCM - 6320 (6800)
ATM - 3240 (3500)
GVM - 3080 (3940 with upgrade)
Ball weight - 320kg (350kg)

Travelled well in 5th, down hill and FLAT, back to 4th for any sort of rise.
