So what you are saying is the greater area of Nagambie has sold out , due to the Easter rush , and this is one of your options , as you are saving coin for the exaggerated costs that will happen on your northen trip , so you are really saving money
Well played sir

MsTree all I am ask is that you give the young fella the benifit of doubt , he seems to be trying , maybe 2015 is the year of the Speewa

Fully Sick Dad  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The look on miss 18's face was priceless when she asked where I got the amp from.  "Out of my old panel van" I said

Bugger.

We threw out some sub boxes a few months ago.
Our son has had a few different setups, and they'd become surplus to requirements.
Ain't it always the way??

Yes, ain't that the way with all shed clean outs.  Don't use something for years, toss it and then find a use for it a month later!
Thanks for the thought, but it shouldn't take me too long to whip up a little carpeted box.  I'll have to make the sub and amp removable, so she can still have space in the rear when needed.

Also picked up a nice little 222 watt Sony 2 channel amp at a trash and treasure market yesterday for $10.  Might stick it under the front seat amd use this to run the front 6" splits.
Although I don't think mums to impressed with all these amps and subs going into her just 18 daughters car...

Replaced timing belt, hydraulic tensioner and pulley + glow plugs and all rear suspension bushes. Front suspension bushes to go tomorrow then a wheel alignment and should be good for Coffin Bay on the weekend for a week or so.

Pulled the under tray water tank out of the GU to find where its leaking and get repaired, what an effort.
Was split along a weld plus found out it needs 2 more baffles in it.

My 11 year old Icekool by Evakool 105L esky was looking a bit used. Busted plastic handles from lifting when full. The lid had bowed from sun and sitting on and longer sealed. This caused the plastic hinges to snap from the pressure.

Grabbed some 100mm stainless butt hinges from work and found some chest handles off old tool boxes.

The toggle latches were $7ea from a tool shop in Rosebud. Way too big, but they keep the lid down and stop it from bowing.
Had to use a heat gun to straighten the lid.

Made up a tow hitch for the ride on and modified the handle of the garden trolley. Should make moving firewood much easier now
