Today marks the start of a clean room for a while.

Epoxy floor coating prep today. Filleting the floor to wall joint for the ability to wash out the shed and better waterproofing from moisture coming in from the outside.

Also had the spray gun out so thought the new solid core door deserved a lick of two pack.

The products are high end two part epoxy paint for industry.

International interplus1180. 2x 20L kits.

Applied via airless spray gun. And sitting at approx 300-400microns.

I purposely loaded it on heavy to provide some durability. The benefit of this product is its chemical resistance.

I should be able to spill acetone on this when cured and wipe it up.

And don’t worry there is a footprint at the door way from my 3 year old boy. Thanks mate!

Made up some storage and a bench for the radio gear. Bit of 12v work as well from the suspended battery bank

Not in my shed, but a mates.
Finally got around to swaping the Tray/canopy, for the XL lock up system.
Going to make things so much better, instead of having to find a park with a trailer miles away from job site in the CBD of the towns that I service.
That's it in the first pic on the Rodeo I bought with the stuffed motor nearly 16 months ago.
The wheel turns slowly :)

Did reach a milestone today. Found a cheap $100 toilet from the big green shed and connected the throne.

One step closer to a final inspection and council completion. A few form 15’s and I’ll be done and dusted. They want the hand wash vanity installed as per the plans. which means the full walls and waterproofing completed behind the vanity unit. Which sucks. But it’s the last piece of the puzzle to be built.

Rendering and soffits completed.
This room outside will be the garden shed and air compressor hideout.
Skillon roof and colour bond wall sheets to complete the look as per the back fence. Probably throw a small soffit out the front of it to match the shed.

Are you in Qld when you mention Form 15?
Not quite sure the plumbing inspector will like the installation  of the toilet.

Hey rags,
Yeh QLD.

The toilet has a full plumbing application.
The poly line in a direct water feed from the mains supply at the water meter.  Continues onto my irrigation sprinkler system outside hence the size.

Yes HDPE compression fittings are not ideal compared to copper. But the sewerage is all 100mm PVC and inspected previous to the slab install.

Spent the day,
Removing all the gear from the 6x4 trailer to the Ute.
No more trying to find a park with a trailer in tow. Amazing how much gear I carry.
Second battery installed, so I can charge my 18V gear when there isn't 240V available.

And remembering what goes where is an important strategy to use to make sure one never leaves a tool behind. I would only ever pack up myself to ensure I packed everything in its rightful place ensuring nothing was left behind. Although pack up assistance can be great, it is an easy way to leave something behind.

Yep the poly has got the hallmark touch that it was done by an unlicensed person. The plumbing inspector will be quick to see that when doing the final inspection. They may ask questions because that work is regulated plumbing work in Qld and so needs to be done by a licensed plumber.

Fair enough rags. It was all setup by my plumber mate a few years ago. I just bolted the pan down and put the flex hose on.

Hey Guys,
I have tried to put gear on the same side as it was in the trailer, but I know I will be opening the wrong door for awhile.
Took me ten minutes to find the flyscreen spline roller to fix the front veranda slider.
