Just went to the Adelaide show last weekend. These show are getter bigger and better every year. And more interest from the public every year. Sunday was packed.

Is this a sign of how expensive holidaying (other than camping) is becoming in Australia?

Yep, we're going. We're in the final months of deciding which CT to buy for our next 10years of camping touring. Want to include or exclude all options on offer.

We will be there.
Our new Adventure Walk Up model will not be as that will be at the Gold Coast this weekend.
But there will be both of the other off road models there.
So come say hi........

RACV members can get a 2 for 1 deal on entry on either Thurs 7 or Tues 12
if they cut and take the add with them from the Latest Royal Auto.
You can find it at the bottom of page 43.

Mate wants to go, might tag along but only if they have worked out something better with getting in and out of the place and parking nightmare. Last time we went few years back, we sat in traffic for 40mins and didn't move.

Was going to go to look at a few things, but can't justify the price: $18 per adult, that's $36 for the wife & I and that's just for the privilege of walking through the gate ... then you start buying stuff!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually know why it costs so much for entry and/or where that money goes?

I'll be at Caulfield Thursday and Saturday.

We'll have mags, DVDs, stubby coolers and a few t-shirts for sale.

And we have a great stand at the Brisbane 4x4 show as well, where you can meet yours truly and Craig every day. Also, any Myswaggers can probably talk me into a bit of free stuff if you come and say hello!

They have to hire the venue, employ people, pay insurance, pay for cleanup, traffic control, advertise, make a profit. You know like any business.

Hopefully we will get along on the Saturday...just gotta find some sucker to mind the kids for a few hours! We have tried taking them in the past, but we will get to see a heap more without them. Hopefully Cameron are there!
