Police Seeking Assistance
In mid September 2012, Noodle, a pet camel was shot at Durrie Station, 100 kilometres east of Birdsville. After Noodle was shot he was decapitated and his head removed from the scene. It was obvious that Noodle was a pet camel as he had a nose peg and a very friendly nature. Police are seeking assistance from the public for information regarding the unlawful killing of Noodle. A reward for the apprehension and conviction of the person(s) responsible for killing Noodle is offered. Persons involved in killing Noodle are not entitled to claim the reward. I would like to thank the following businesses for their kind donations.
