Just make sure that it is hitched up correctly, the chains are on correctly, your electric brake controller is working correctly, and check all lights are working correctly. If it is empty I wouldn't be putting water in the tank as this weight will be behind the axle, taking weight off the hitch (and worse case scenario lifting the back of the vehicle slightly) which is a recipe for swaying leading to jack knifing- but much more so with caravans than camper trailers I might add.
Give yourself some more room to the car in front to compensate for the extra weight, and don't cut corners as your camper will cut them even more!
Take your time and enjoy, and take regular breaks - 10 hours when you are concentrating on things you normally don't have to concentrate on will increase your fatigue.
