Only 6 more sleeps to go......
Low tide is at 9;50am and i want to be there an hour or so before, so planning on leaving home at just before 8'00am.
That gives the ol girl a bit more beauty sleep, and heaven knows, she needs it.
I bet we end up leaving by 7am though, as everyone wants to get there sooner than later.
Gotta get a set of rear brake pads tossed in the Jeep on Monday, but apart from that, i think we are all good to go.
We might get some pics this time at Inskip, as we shouldn't be spending a week there digging ourselves out of the sand this time.
With all the advice we got after last time, we're gunna blitz it this time and if we don't, it won't be our fault, as we can blame everyone on here.
I'm just wishing now I'd stopped taking bookings for mowing a bit earlier, as I'm mowing until at least midday Thursday.
Hey, one question, when we bought our camper, it came with one of them big arse 20 x 30 black/silver tarps. the owner reckoned it was really hot once and he used it to cool the camper.
Will it bugger the tent material if the tarp was sitting on it in a few spots during a wind?
I was going to use some tennis balls on top of the tent pole spike thingys, but what about where the foldout internal poles are, well, internal?
Should i chuck a towel or something over those spots or would it it be OK?
There is a storm forecast for next Saturday with a good chance of rain, that day only. The seller reckoned it never leaked ever on him, but i don't wanna end up sleeping in a wet spot.
Being that the forecast says it will be a bit warmer for this trip too, i thought, if its gunna be hot and wet, it might make good sense to have it up early. (the tarp)
