You are correct, any kind of distance closer would make things heaps easier. Suffice to say that my wife has had a family bereavement, and we cannot travel anyway at the moment, but it is very hard to explain why, it is a tribal culture matter.
At the moment you could not break bread with my son-in-law, he is somewhere overseas and according to my daughter, he is not allowed to share details, so I do not ask. She does not even know exactly where he is, and she suffers terribly evenry time someone is hurt, waiting to hear who it is.

Incidentally, we are not looking for "sympathy", the bereavement involves persons who were elderly, and it was not unexpected, it is just under true Aboriginal culture (not the pretend city stuff) everything must be done properly.
