My son and I went to Melbourne Arena today to watch the Austral Wheelrace and the Madison Championships. I've never been to the velodrome before, pretty cool place, we watched the day session heats, next time we'll go to the evening session to see the finals.

The Cascades trail is on my to do list, looks like a great ride similar to Blue Tier and Atlas at Derby.

Do it for sure mate we have done it twice now

Nothing like you see on TV, is it!  ;) The Wheel Race was won at an average speed of 60kmh by Kel O'brien. Just think about that effort on a treadly to try and maintain.  :cup:

Is he going to have a go on the boards or another velo?  There's a few public ones in the South Eastern Suburbs... Carnegie is ok, and Kew used to be a bit rough

My OCD knows no boundaries  ;D

I got sick of having bottles everywhere so I made a bottle holder from scrap timber I had.

Yup, 3mm MDF with a 30x30 frame, can't remember the hole saw size.

Another post courtesy of my OCD.

These car organisers from Aldi are great for travelling with bike stuff. In each compartment you can fit a helmet, gloves, glasses and water bottle. Keeps everything neat in the car and nothing goes missing, folds away when not in use.

I reckon the screws on the left hand side are not in a straight line, the center one is inboard more than others

I could only find enough screws for 2 on one side and 3 on the other :)

Sink the screws a tad deeper, fill, sand and paint.
