Don't use your fingers to hold marine carpet to wood while you wait for quick-grip adhesive to dry :-[

Sticky/stuck fingers

Now does that indicate you get the adhesive on the front of the marine carpet too  :-[

(must be a bit boring on here today)

Tip 2.  When one has retired but one’s wife is still working, when the wife comes home after working a 12 hour shift, do not complain about what a hard day you have had, could not decide between having a cup of coffee or tea!  Especially when one’s wife is a nurse in the emergency department.   :-[     Kevin

When celebrating your 20th anniversary, do not say (after a couple too many ales) that you would have done less time for killing someone.  Luckily it was over ten years ago now, but I was not forgiven for a long period of time.  I did breakfast in bed for SWMBO for nearly 5 months after that one.

Do not continue to 'soldier on' while already injured.

I totally messed up and drilled a hole straight through some wood and straight into my middle finger.   Damn! those brand new drill bits are sharp.
While that finger was recovering... I trimming some fibreglass.... with a VERY sharp knife and holding with two fingers. slipped and nearly took the tip off my pointer finger.  Got two of them bandaged now.

I wonder how I'll damage another finger..... while escaping to the shed due to the wifes TV show selection.   Gawd! I'd better not even look at the saw or angle grinder for a few weeks ;)

When trail bike riding in 6 degree weather, don't do a tank slapper 5 minutes into your ride, landing butt first in a foot deep puddle, leaving yourself soaked and frozen for the rest of the day!

On the other hand my mate who was behind me is now adamant that those $300 helmet cameras are a bargin...
