When filling your boat with 200 litres of fuel, make sure the bowser nozzle is in the fuel filler and not a rod holder
OMG that hurt my ribs
thats one big fuel tank you got there!!!!
I did have a bad experience filling the tanks on of all things, the old mans boat. Tought we'd do the right thing and fill up both tanks. I passed my mate the '
unleaded' bowser hose (only hose from that bowser). Walked up to the shop got a few odds & ends together and left them on the counter. The attendant and I returned to the boat knowing it will take some filling. Port side filled so mate passed the hose to the attendant who then filled the starboard tank. Once filled the attendant & I go up to do payment. I notice the attendant is trying to charge me for the higher priced diesel. I pull him up on it. He then says, NO! You just brought 500 litres of diesel.... "WTF!!!!
Long story short, and a lengthy argument. Best part was after that S#@T fight was sorted I still had to call to dad. Well he was so pleased when I told him I won 2 new 300L fuel tanks, filters, fuel lines fitment and filled with fuel. Once it was all fixed the a week later the marina called me to pick up dads boat. They had a final attempt at trying to get $$$ of me I smiled was polite and said just fix your signage on your bowsers (turns out he already had, bet next day) and reminded him that it was him that filled 1 of the 300L of the tanks....
Dad now knows truth, still put his cranky pants on but finally got over it.
