Its been a while since I have checked the site, Since there was some interest in my weight loss i thought I would share.
Basically you need to get your metabolism working correctly, as un natural is this will seem to do stick with it
Eat every 2 1/2 hours, at first you wont feel hungry and will be thinking that eating when your not hungry will make you put weight on and it will for a week or so. This teaches your body that there is always food coming and it wont store fats, Once your metabolism is working you should be burning off a meal within 2 hours and be hungry 1/2 hour after that, so heres what i was doing
Wake up at 6am, take a 1/2 hour walk before breakfast, this will burn any fat stored from prevuis day plus a little extra,
Breakfast at 7 30am, usually just a bowl of musli or weetbix with Skim milk
930 - 10 am ish, varuios fruit, doesnt matter how much you have
12:30 Lunch, I was having alot of salad with either tuna, kangaroo or chicken
3pm, Protein shake or fruit, I chose the protien shake (water Based) as it was very filling and I wasnt consuming any calories
6pm dinner, again salad with either tuna, salmon, kangaroo or chicken
30 minute walk after dinner.
9pm another water based protein shake same reason as 3pm shake
bed around 10 30pm
All of my eating was low carb however you need to be in touch with your body as when you become extreemly low on carbs your body will turn to your protein stores (muscle) for food and you will start depleting your muscle, Bad breath will be the most obviuos sign of a lack of carbs, Google Ketosis.
I have attached a copy of my eating plan, have a read but bear in mind the calories are very low, you may need to adjust this a little, I would also suggest having one day a week where you relax your eating and have whatever you feel like, also dont be shy to have a beer with friends and once every 6 weeks have a week off the eating plan alltogether, it's good to shock the body.
My diary doesnt show liquid intake, basically all I had was water, however if you enjoy a coffee or tea dont be shy but i strongly suggest no dairy after 6pm and always skim milk, I did have the odd coffee every now and then
I would reccomend keeping an eating diary over a 1 week period just so that you are totally aware of your eating habbits
I am now on a body building program which involves a hell of a lot of food which is also on the eating plan,(dont mix them up) I have opted to go this way to build lean muscle which i am now 5 weeks in and loving it.
