Good work everyone, keep it up, you feel much better for it.
I've been fluctuating a bit as a get closer to my goal weight and step up the workouts physically.
Currently 112.7kg (as of yesterday morning), so only 2kg down since April
Can see a difference in the body though, couldn't put off some clothes shopping any longer, I was starting to look ridiculous in my old 5-6xl clothes. I'm comfortably down to XXL, can get away with some XL cuts, but some XXL cuts don't fit properly. I did have some xxl stuff before, but it was a bit tight, now (without having worn it much to stretch it out) that stuff is a bit loose and all the new stuff fits comfortably, I nearly grabbed the xl's as motivation, but a lot of them didn't fit my shoulders.
Still want to get around the 100kg mark, but not expecting to get under it, I don't think I'm carrying enough fat to do so, especially if I keep up the weight gain, while getting smaller. I've lost enough fat to make a noticeable visual difference to my body shape without actually losing much weight for 2-3 months now.
I certainly feel lighter despite not having lost much, everything is just easier. I'll catch myself jogging between destinations when there is no hurry, just because I can. And occasionally I'll pick something up and carry it around with no effort then someone will point out that it's 50kg.
Yesterday I caught two young sheep (bit under a year) in the middle of the paddock, first I outran and grabbed normally, second I caught while carrying the first. They were probably a touch under 20kg each, but my estimation of weights has been way off lately. Then I carried them both a few hundred metres to the shed they were refusing to go in. No burning muscles, no panting for breath, nothing. Six months ago I probably would've managed one with some panting, 2 months ago I'd have probably caught both of them, but could not have carried them.
Also a week ago I figured out I can do one-armed push-ups with my feet balanced on one of those big bouncy fit ball things
So hopefully I'm still on the right track
Haven't changed the diet, but the naturopath that put me onto it wants me to cut a bit more diary, and change my smoothies a bit.
New recipe
50% Veggie juice
50% Fruit juice
2 eggs (raw)
Yes I realise that if I have 50% of veggies and 50% of fruit the eggs make the smoothie add up to more than 100%. I'm yet to try it out.
