On our way there, we saw this bloke on his way up the Murray as we came down the hill with a fair wack of pace on ourselves, and he had done the same thing.. and low and behold, its a GU with Alloys, which he had fitted that day!
Turns out hes a bloke from my old club! Nobody else had stopped to my surprise and disappointment....
We unhooked his trailer and moved it as he had already arranged a towy and wanted to try and lock it up for him, The towy was to take it to I think Patrol-a-Part for repairs that night (the boys were going to work back to fix it for him, so
to them) so he could still have his long weekend.
Wheel studs, gawn.. Disc knackered and backing plate. Rim Ovaled out too.
Where the arrow is, is sorta where his wheel went as it was airborne... 100kph + pile of dirt (worked as a ramp) out of shot on right side = MAYDAY.. He found his wheel on the other side of the paddock apparently. He also stopped just before that gully.. Could hav been real nasty.
