I'm with you Paul, I'm not one to generally get too excited about cyclones, but Yasi has got me "quietly concerned" at the moment. Not worried, and I'm sure with the right, sensible precautions everything will be fine. But it is one heck of a storm just on size alone, and as Geoff says, they can be unpredictable things.

Either way, it's going to be a fun few days. The guy from the BOM on the radio this morning was talking about how they expect it to stay formed as a cyclone as it tracks inland. Goodness knows how much rain that's going to dump into the gulf country/channel country. Cause the one thing the Balonne and Condamine rivers need now is more rain!
Ahh well - wait and see I guess. I might have to fill up the water tank in the camper, stop it blowing away...
