Was a long night but worth it,  last wicket fell at 2.55am, 5 overs left.
Just in time, only had one stubbie left.

I gave up following for the good of the team. Seems they only got a wicket when I walked away or switched browsers so decided to go to bed!
Here for a good time, not a long time!

In hindsight Pup and Boof got the declaration timing just about perfect....but I bet they were a bit anxious towards the end. I know I was.

Seems the English are blaming Duckworth - Lewis for their T20 loss to NZ

How does the system work anyway?

Not sure if this is they way to go with these 2. Hogg in particular was ordinary and drop a sitter. I think he's too caught up in trying to promote the tongue chewing cult figure that they've pushed in the big bash here. He may struggle bowling his Chinaman's to batsmen from the sub continent as they have no trouble reading his wrong un.  Hodge was a bit unlucky though and deserves another chance.

Awesome News - We played well this summer.
I like where this team is going, and I think it can better with a more consistant top order.
The fast bowling stocks are good, if we can keep them fit and un-injured.

I saw this earlier!

Most entertaining thing about thru IPL is this stuff, cricket is usually ordinary. I remember IPL 1 (I think) when Harbajan slapped the yappy Indian fast bowler (think it was Shreasanth) and made him cry. They should script stuff like this for every game!

Without knowing the full story I say good on Dennis Lillee for telling Cricket Aus to shove it: Johnson was doing zero and was a washed up has been, and he was THE difference last summer and in SA, thanks in no small way to the greatest fast bowler of all time (IMO) stepping in and coaching his ar$e back into gear. I think its only fair that DKL should have expected a pay rise, hell's teeth so called businessman vote themselves massive bonuses for completing public works projects all the time, only to see said project in receivership 3 months later (Clem Jones Tunnel in Brisvegas is one recent example that comes to mind).

3-0 to the Aussies

Was the catch legal? I didn't think you could move that far out of fielding position but according to the rules you can...

I'm pretty sure he was fine as once the ball leaves bowlers hand you can move in slips. Which is what Smith did when he saw the batsmen about to reverse sweep.

Yep, you can't deviate (but can move on) when the bowler is running in. As soon as the ball has left the hand the field is free to move. Was brilliant anticipation regardless.

How good was Matty Wade's run out yesterday!
