Firstly, let Watson prove he can stand up and play for more that three tests in a row, and learn how to move his feet. Lost track of now many times he has got out cheaply just before lunch and put pressure on those down the order. His records speaks for itself, only three test hundreds in his career, but still considered the great white hope!
Haddin, you must be joking, yep he is a good keeper, put putting faith in a 37 year old as a batsman for the future is crazy.
Hughes, kawaja and co, agree completely, let them consolidate.
Clarke, great bat, but is being restricted by his inability to hit across the line, hook or sweep. Stood there unable to move today and got picked of.
I'll stand by my initial comment, any other sport but cricket Clarke and Watson would be pensioned off. Playing at this level makes it very hard to hide if you can't adapt your game to match your physical ability. Peitersen to his credit has done so reasonably well.
