Come join the Camel train
« on: December 02, 2010, 10:32:57 PM »
I've been snooping around the site trying to work out if there's any way of listing us members by the CT make we have (yeah I thought that was pretty optimistic too).  No luck... but I can see every other site stat though!

I'm interested to know who else has a Camel (so i can search through your posts for pics and tips etc)?   According to the poll there's 99 of us, but I only know a few by name (blackstump, Stevo...)  So with tongue planted firmly in cheek, I'm gonna start an official Camel Tow membership...

So if you have one, put your name down, grab a number and you'll be served next!

Camel Tow Member No.1 - 'President'  :cup:

(geez if they start one of these for Jayco or Trackabout it's gonna be a long thread...)
I'm not so good with advice... can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Sorry Lisa...
there are only 20 Camel owners! The 99 belongs to Jayco, followed by Team Trackabout with 80 odd, then the others....

LOL!  I'd like to have a Camel Tow just to enter the club!  I do have the other kind though, but I don't think that's entry point enough.  LOL!  Keep up with the naming as I'm loving it.

Join now and we'll throw in a free nickname.  8)

I'll raise it with the committee at the next AGM to see which type of Camel Tow is the prerequisite for membership.
Yours sincerely
The Camel Tow President.

El Presidento,

If Kit-e is prepared to remind us that she has the 'other' type on a national camper forum then she has my vote to be an honorary (sp) member of the Camel Train !

 :worthles:

Cheers,

Camel Tow in the Capital

Yes she certainly does have 'spirit'.  Last time I came across someone freely showing a picture of their pussy on the internet, I got charged $5 a minute.
So we have one 'aye', can I get a second from another member.

I have just ordered a new one as our personal use trailer.

This time round we are getting a Bushman (not the plus model. I do a lot of high country camping and want the lower weight), optioned up with:
Gazebo, twin water tanks with lockable fillers, extra plastic tub to the RHS of the SS sink, Cruisemaster ind suspension, D035 hitch, gas strut to tool box.
We're doing a custom battery management system in-house @ e4WD

Two of the other trailers got stolen from Cranbourne about 1 1/2 months ago. If any one see's a Disco or nomad up for sale cheap, it may be our stolen units.

Did they have one hump or two?
