G'day from Bathurst
« on: November 19, 2010, 03:01:36 PM »
I am another old bastard who has found this great forum.
I live in Paradise (Bathurst NSW)
first camper was a Cub
second camper was a Chesney
third camper, I have a new box trailer and I am about to order a Oztrail camper top
then I can add and modify to my hearts delight.

Great to have you along  Mitch.

Post up some pics when your ready, and if someone puts this { :worthles:}in a post, don't take it to heart, it's only a bit of joke and not meant to be taken too seriously.

G'day Mitch, welcome aboard lot good people, and just as much good info. my first camper was 6x4 and canvas top, leaked like a sive but lived out of it for 9months. seems more fun to ruff it when your younger. :D

That's the best part I am starting with a blank canvas, i can mod to my hearts delight.
and after 2 previous campers in the last 20 years I still don't know what I want.
P.S my first camper was a Cub and it lasted for about 130,000 klm

G'day Mitch, from one 'old basterd to another', welcome and it looks like you are already out there doing what nobody else can tell you to do. Enjoy your new CT and this forum can teach even 'old-dogs' new tricks.

G'day Mitch welcome to Myswag, was up your way about a month ago, funny always seem to get up about that time of the year, usually stay a night out at the Blayney wind farm, can never remember the name of the lake,  but its a great little camp and last decent nights sleep before the mountain, anyways lots of info on here, good advise and good people, look forward to seeing your trailer progress

G'day & Welcome you old bastard. There's a few of us around  ;D.

What are the hidden for camping out your way? Apart from the Bridle Track and close by, where else should we be looking around Bathurst?
