Cheers Matto, yep there are many extras but no more will be added now. I have signed of on the final fitout for the camper so things are rolling along well. I must admit the excitment and planning of the first trip is out of control. Looking at a 2 week trip mid Jan somewhere along the Qld coast, Rollingstone is looking good at the moment.

The Final extras list......

Jayco Outback Hawk
Bed Flys
ALKO Drop legs
Fiamma Awning
120watt Solar Pack
2 x Battery set up
Anderson Plug for charging from vehicle whilst traveling.
A/C
CD/DVD Player 2 internal and with external marine speakers
Extra 9kg Gas bottle holder
OZ Hitch
Roof Racks
Inner Spring mattress to Queen bed only
Draw bar extension
Bag awning to Kitchen side
Jayco control panel to show power and water levels
12v pump to kitchen
Sink cover
Microwave
Upgrade to 110ltr Waeco 12/240v fridge
Axel upgrade to 2000kg
Pole carrier
2nd Water tank
Sun shade wall to awning
Tap on Draw bar
Gas bayonet from second gas bottle for Weber Q
Extra rib to Fiamma awning to assist in water run off....

Well, Jayco have just informed me that I have too much weight on the roof as it can only take 75kg....

The maximum weight the roof can hold is 75kg.
Here is a list of weights of the options. I have to delete stuff to get my weight down to under 75kgs...

Fiamma awning 22kg
Off side bag awning 10kg
Roof rack 10kg
Aircond 40kg
Solar 10kg
Bed end flys 9kg

I chose to delete

Roof rack 10kg
Solar 10kg - This will be replaced with a portable unit.
Off side bag awning 10kg - This will be replaced with sail track and sunblocker awning that slides on....

I also decided to delet Microwave to maintain some cupborad space.....

Yeah, the AC was a serious consideration wrt deleting but the other items deleted have work arounds except the roof rack but the Patrol has one for anything else needed. When it come to all year round climate and camping, the AC can be your friend up here and was never going to go...hehehe...A little soft I know.....

Hello Teabag

It's a pity that you had to delete some of the extras that you were after but sounds as if you can work around it.  I  have just purchased a Jayco Flamingo with a lot of goodies.  Needed to upgrade to the 2000kg axel as it just got too heavy.  I'm a little surprised you didn't go for the gas hot water system.  Hot water on tap - easy clean ups. I'm sure your going to have lots of fun with it...Enjoy!

We did seriously think about hot water system but for the money and is only for doing the dishes I thought the expense was a little too much. We will just carry a cheap elect kettle and wait a minute or two for it to boil......

Paul,
Firstly, "You have changed"
Secondly, You are now officially soft
Thirdly, Don't use the kids as an excuse to buy a caravan. YOU have gone soft and you are just trying to justify it to us (and perhaps yourself!).  As I remember Bec was more than happy with the KK!
Fourthly, Do you have any ideas on how I could mount A/C to my Trackabout?
Fiftly, We are going camping down the south coast again with Greg and Tammy to the infamous place where I snapped a vital piece of personal equipment (that helps you walk) from the 27th Dec to the 4th Jan.  Are you coming in your new luxo holiday apartment on wheels?? ;D
Lastly, you should sell the Datto and buy a Porsche Cayenne or VW Toureg.  Much more befitting now!

Cheers

Mate old man is extremely happy with the turbo upgrade. Don't reckon I will be able to convince him to get a twunjy now. He is selling his Pioneer now though as they are looking at an Aussie Swag with all the fruit. Glad you are happy with your mate. I thought you were getting the turbo upgrade to tow a Kedron!

Yeah, Kedron was a little steep price wise and the budget wasn't able to stretch that far.......
