Picked up the Dvd's and I have started posting. Gee I hope they work as the company advised they have checked them.

The DVD goes for nearly 3 hrs. I was going to get signed copies from the stars but that was extra.

Video arrived today, just finished watching it... you really need to be well prepared for a trip like that...very testing on your gear...but great stuff, absolutely loved it :cup: :cup: :cup:

It was a great trip. Yes preparation is everything as you never know what the next crossing is going to be like.

For the number of cars and campers that went up and the small amount of damage sustained on campers it was pretty good.

I am glad you enjoyed it and also a big thank you to JK for the hours spent getting the DVD done. :cup:

Excellent work to both the collaborators, commentators, and camera crew!  I'm watching that Luxie do things easily (well mostly) so that's good!!  About time a "real world" version of those tele shows was made ... less the endless advertising.  Another 1.5 hrs to go!!

Watched mine last night.

If that dosnt inspire anyone to get out there, then nothing will.

And isnt it nice to watch a dvd like this without the loud crappy music or stupid editing. Much rather listen to the car, the people, the bush, the birds, you get what I mean.

Thanks McGirr, I received my copy yesterday.  Just have to make some time now to watch it, although with kids on school holidays and having already seen it twice before I don't think I am in as much hurry as others.  And thanks again for making the time to get copies made and arranging postage etc.

A BIG, BIG thank-you really should also go to JK and his family.  Firstly for taking the time to capture the great adventure and then the hours and hours spent editing and making the movie that it is today.  I'm sure he didn't set out with the idea that his footage would go into dozens of loungerooms so thanks JK for sharing for yours, Julie's and Reece's Cape York adventures.  :cup:

Thank Karen, your right about not expecting the DVD to go global but I think I edited out all the colorfull language while still keeping the realistic feel for the trip  ;D . I hope everyone enjoys the vid and thanks to Mr McGirr for the time spent on mass production,

So how is every one enjoying the DVD's  ??? , it's gone all quiet over the weekend I guess all eyes are on the TV screens.  ;D . Hope all are happy and for those going on the Cape Trip next year I hope it gives an insite into the adventure ahead.  :cheers:

as I said in a earlier post...loved it :cup:...thanks heaps to you and your family for some great footage...I have heard and read plenty about how hard going it is up there...you captured on camera it's harshness wonderfully...a trip up there is definitely on my to do list.

Some members are still waiting for thier dvd which has been posted.

So far Spender and Blackcat are still waiting. I posted them to the addresses supplied and they all have a return address if for some reason they do not turn up.

Please advise once you have them.
