I think we are being underpaid..
Online Personal Trainer / Coach $200-250k

I’m tempted to show that to my wife. She’s a qualified personal trainer and looking for something new.

We’re in the UK but if it’s online, does it matter? I suppose the taxman might think so.

Had a surprise visit from three mates today, we've know each other since we were 17, 42 years ago we played Rugby League for the Byron Bay Red Devils.
We enjoyed lunch at the Lawrence Tavern & a couple beers.

And I'm able to drive again after my knee replacement.
Happy Days, now to plan some trips.

It was awesome of them to drive down from Brisvagas for the day.
A 4th mate wasn't able to join us, but we are planning to catch up him soon, He's near Yass. We'll make it a weekend
Fysh and her school Mates do the same thing, catch up once a year,
somewhere, and  sometimes us handbages get to go along.
I reckon everyone should catchup up with long time friends, every now & then
They are family.

The victorian government has spent $13 million on these bins.
Nothing special just made of metal $300,000 each.

Ok, Promise last post about my knee OP.
Yesterday it was 5 weeks ago, I've been off pain killers for nearly a week, even tho thevearly hours of the morning I am still woken up with pain. I rub an intiflamitory cream in and I'm able to go back to sleep.
Putting a sick on, a shoe/boot is difficult, I can't bend the leg over my other knee, although everyday there is more movement.
Yesterday and today I installed a pair of 150mmx3.6M CCA posts gug inti the ground 800mm, 4 bags of concrete mix, for a sail shade I need to have here to keep the dun of my mowers and 80 series.
Even climbed a ladder a few times.
Yeah I know, I'll be in trouble with Fysh when she comes home,
So, now we look forward to using our caravan, more trips with our 4wd Club and Swagging it, making memories.
Get out there Swaggers.
BTW, a big shout out to you guys that encouraged, sent messages and put up with my crap.
Cheers.

You are doing OK Hairs.

I am 7 years into my right knee and 4 years into the left. On Monday I climbed Mt Coolum with minimal difficulty. They will never be as good as the originals pre arthritic wear but they are a bloody sight better than they were in the 3 to 4 years leading up to the surgery.

In my experience recovery is all about bend and avoiding excess swelling. Its a delicate balance - just when you think you are ready to do more work / lifting / weight bearing etc the swelling tells you it might be a bit soon. The best exercise I found was to put a sock on (yeah I know easier said than done eh) then sit on a step above a smooth floor and slide the foot back to myself. I would mark my progress each day and gradually increase the repetitions. If the swelling increased I cut back but didn't stop.

Keep going mate but don't register for the cricket team this summer.

Hi Rowlie,
You are correct, about movement.
Funny how there are some that tell you,  you have to get on bike, you have to climb stairs, you have to this or that.
From the outset,  the surgeon said, do as your Physo tells you, everyone is different.
I followed the Physo's direction from before the OP, I was driving a week ago, I threw my crutches away after a say, hey it hasn't been easy by any stretch,  but I keep moving.

I also have to state, from the very first time I approached my Dr, a few years ago, and I know things take time. All have been awesome.
From the surgeon to to the hospital staff, nurses.
And it hasn't cost me an upfront cost, we live in the Best country on Earth.
Thank you.
