What ever happened to the Blitz?
« on: June 20, 2021, 07:48:28 PM »
Does anyone here remember seeing the Blitz truck at the Birdsville Working museum? We used to own it and it was set up as a bush fire unit, the "Warraderry" on the door is the local area that l live and run a farm at near Grenfell, and l have many memories of driving it around the farm. Apparently all the museum items have been auctioned off and l was wondering if anyone knows of where it went to or where it could be now.

Thanks, Trevor

They were such a workhorse, used for so many purposes. Looking up the YouTube clip now.

Gave her a wash and polish and put her up for sale-

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.
