Landcruiser service in Albany WA
« on: March 22, 2021, 07:51:04 PM »
We will be in Albany for a few days from tomorrow and our 200 Series (the one with the new replacement engine) is due for a 10,000km service - engine oil and filter, fuel filter and general inspection. Does not need an air filter. It has only about 15,0000km on this new engine.
I hate the thought of going to a Toyota dealer, even if they can fit me in. Can anyone recommend an independent workshop there?

Supercheap auto for the oil and Toyota dealer for filters, head out of town for 10k, find a deserted side track, drop the oil and change the filters. 1/2 hr tops ..

Oh, and dig a hole 1st for the oil, and take a garbage bag for the filters.

I had a breakdown in the Prado at Albany some time ago and found the Toyota techs there to be really helpful and knew what they were doing
