I don't. I cant see how they can give the all clear until there is some form of vaccine - which is 12mths away according to some expert bloke Gov Co has employed as a mouth piece.

Yep, 12  - 18 months for a vaccine, or maybe 15 if they can trim a few corners ???

Not helped by the news last night (Channel 9, which says a lot ::)), waffling on about "CSIRO making a breakthrough with a vaccine!" If they'd actually read the press release they were supposedly reporting on ::), they'd have seen that CSIRO are getting ready to start trials on ferrets, & hope that they may be able to start human trials this year!

yep....  Good ol' commercial news... QUICK RUN WITH THIS..... but shouldnt we read it... **** NO..> RUN WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say the human trials will be fast tracked on any 'possible' vaccine anywhere in the world... I'm tipping china has one already they will sell to the world at a large $$$$... pass me a foil hat.

Actually the virus cannot be transmitted directly from a bat to a human.  It needs an intermediary.  It has been postulated that it was passed from bat to snake to human.

read the whole section (bold emphasis mine):

Mr Morrison also addressed the issue of churches and places of worship leading into Easter saying they “will be considered as workplaces” for those who conduct religious streaming videos and take part in the religious services from the premises. However, he reaffirmed “churches are not open; places of worship are not open” for members of the public.

it only means that priests and members of the clergy can go into churches to setup streaming equipment and to perform the sermon.

nothing to do with people being allowed to actually enter the church again.

but hey, let's not get facts get in the way of a good biased rant.

Some of our security bars have been getting some surface rust over the last couple of years and I’ve been putting it in the too hard pile. Well today I went to a nut and bolt shop and bought a special bit so I can remove the security screws.

So the offending bars have now been removed and tomorrow going to give them a light sand, prime and repaint.

Also on the way home dropped into the big green shed for hammer tone paint to repaint the chassis on the camper trailer which is peeling badly due to a trip to Cape York a couple of years ago.

If I don’t fill in all this extra time I will climb the walls.
