Black Duck 4elements or sheep skin for front seat covers ?
« on: March 26, 2020, 06:14:43 AM »
For the 4WD, for the front seats only, are there comfortable seat cover options that provide the comfort (not sweat etc) of sheep skin, and durability/get in wet like Canvas ? Are Black Duck 4elements seat covers that option ?

Hi,
I have black duck on the front seats of a corolla.
They seem well made and fit well. It is not obvious that they are covers.
Fitting them seemed rather primitive though, cheap looking ties to knot under the seat base. Perhaps removing the seats would have been easier to fit the covers.
I'm happy with them, but not ecstatic.
Cheers

They are good seat covers but a bit on the expensive side. Have them in all our work utes and they get a flogging from getting in and out all day with crap all over your clothes. We tried cheaper ones with padding but they were useless. Canvas is good as you can slide in/out so to speak where other fabric ones tend to “hang on” and drag. Wide velcro strips attached are excellent to hold them in place.

G’day VS,
I initially looked at black duck for Gort. I bought MSA canvas covers on the front of the our cruiser. Look good, comfortable, you can slide in and out easily etc.etc.. Recommend. Oh, and cheaper than black duck.
You know the type of travel we do 😀 and they work and wear well..
Cheers

Guys,
I am more asking about the 4elements material as opposed to Black Duck themselves.

Is that material better than sheep skin ?
