And I guess your now going to tell me that all 4 vehicles the LSD worked in the rear after 30 000km........
Nope
I didn't own any one of em with less than 160,000 on the clock. A Toyota is not something you need to own till the warrantee runs out then throw it at a dealer for another set of keys. I do have a Pajero that will go when the warrantee gets close though.
Actually, only one of em, my current 80, even had an LSD. While it is weak it still works a bit.. ish.. at 300k. And I can honestly say, hand on heart, that, with the exception of that weak LSD and a rear water squirter, everything still works just how it was supposed to.
There are no windows that stop halfway, no none standard wires or hoses bypassing broken bits, no need to hit this or shake that to make something work. It ain’t because of easy treatment or quick repair either. In the several years I have had it I have done nothing, but nothing has played up.
Even the rear water squirter works, it is just that it makes the front one squirt too. Think it might just be in the stalk.
I said before, I’m not manufacturer biased and I’m not. Toyota has built some **** boxes - anyone for an Avalon? Get ya free blue rinse and bowls hat when you pick it up! But I am 80 series cruiser biased. There has never been, before or since, a better all round vehicle. Some one tried to tell me it was late competition for the GQ - get ya hand off it. It was early competition for the GU and still makes the GU look like a rattley farm tractor.
